Playing saxophone for long periods of time in the practice room or on stage with other musicians can and likely will damage your hearing. I use custom molded earplugs, airpods pro 2 with transparency mode and custom in ear monitors when playing saxophone. These can help protect my ears and hearing but also enhance the practice and performance experiences.
